Drift Along Pizza (food truck)

Happy Friday!  Are you ready for another food-tastic yummy review?  Today, we are featuring Drift Along Pizza.  I don't know about you, but when I think of food truck, pizza does not typically come to my mind.  To be honest (generally speaking), I like/love the idea of pizza, but in reality I merely barely tolerate it.  It is definitely not my favorite food.  There are a very few exceptions to this for me.  So when I saw that this week's food truck was going to be pizza I was kind of like mehhhhhhh......, but then I read their menu and started drooling on my keyboard lol

Note:  The picture of the menu is not mine.  I borrowed it.

It is a really interesting menu.  The pizzas were more like flat breads.  Nice and crunchy and able to hold the deluge of toppings.  When I was walking downstairs to get in line to order, there was a group of people coming back inside carrying their pizza orders.  The smell was heavenly.  Honestly, this is is not what I would call pizza.  It is so much better than pizza.

So for research sake and because I typically try to make two meals out of what I order on Fridays.  I ordered the Chicka Chicka Boom  and the Big Dill. I left the cilantro off.  I don't typically like cilantro.  Cilantro is  what I imagine eating soapy grass would taste like.  But anyhow,  I'm not here to talk about cilantro.  I'm here to talk about this delicious flavor concoction of a pizza.  OMG, the texture, the flavors were so good.  It was a bit spicy.  The smell was heavenly, the proportions of ingredients were perfect. The portion size was more than enough.  The Chicka Chicka Boom was delicious. The Big Dill was  not as delicious.  This is my personal opinion though because I also don't really like dill pickles either.  It thought the combination of flavors would be enough to get me to like it.  I just don't like dill pickles.  But if you like dill pickles you will love it.
