66 Diner - A Narrative of Comfort Food
Please note this is NOT necessarily a review of the diner itself. It is just something I feel compelled to write this morning while the writing bug has bitten me as per usual when I am supposed to be doing something else lol Nestled just outside of the city limits on a winding two lane country road, sits a small building. It's signage towering over the building and small parking lot, a beacon beckoning those that pass to stop. The parking lot is small. If you were to pass by it during non-peak hours you might not even notice it. Lunch and supper time though, you will be hard pressed to find a parking spot. What makes this place so popular you might ask? It's comfort. Comfort..... comfort in the the ambience, the personnel, the decorations, the attitude and southern drawl of the staff, and in the food itself. When you walk in you are immediately in the middle of a busy scene of food coming out of the kitchen and wait staff walki...
